Toronto Days, Fireworks & Free Park Entry Day-Cross Timbers State Park

Woodson County & Toronto Booster Club kicks off the Toronto Days events with a fireworks display in Toronto Point on July 3, 2026 (at dusk).

This is a FREE entrance day, so no vehicle passes will be required on July 3, 2026 for Cross Timbers SP.

The Toronto Booster Club will continue hosting the Toronto Days celebration on Saturday morning, so bring your competitive spirit for their horseshoe tournament, then get ready for a full evening of excitement at the Block Party featuring kids games, a street dance, axe throwing, local vendors, and a cornhole tournament.

They'll wrap up the weekend Sunday morning with one of our favorite traditions—the mud volleyball tournament—so gather your team and don’t be afraid to get a little messy!

Secretary Kennedy has designated several park-specific Free Entrance Days that align with local events and programs designed to engage families, outdoor enthusiasts, and newcomers to Kansas state parks. Camping fees still apply.
