Free Fishing Clinic and WildLifer Challenge

Free Fishing Clinic & WildLifer Challenge 

 Join us on Saturday, June 6, for Kansas's Free Fishing Weekend with Milford Nature Center at Outlet Park from 9am-12pm!

 FREE | All ages | No registration for the event is required
All children must be accompanied by an adult through the entirety of the event.

Spend the day enjoying fishing fun, outdoor exploration, and hands-on activities for all ages. No fishing license is required during Free Fishing Weekend. Equipment and bait is provided, but is first come, first serve.
 
In addition to fishing, families can participate in activity stations designed to help complete parts of the Kansas Wildlifer Challenge with the Kansas Wildscape Foundation! This program is geared to get kids outside, learn a few new outdoor skills, and discover more about the wild side of Kansas through these interactive challenges! Registration not required for families to participate in the stations at the event!
 
 Stations will include:
  • Fishing Clinic
  • Bird Watching
  • Wilderness First Aid
  • Fish Art
  • Water safety with U.S Army Corps of Engineers
  • Plant a Tree & tree giveaway with Kansas Forest Service
