Traditional Hunter Education Course
Two-Day Course (must attend both days):

Saturday, September 12, 2026;9am-5pm

The course consists of subjects covering hunter responsibility, ethics, fair chase, history of firearms, firearms basics, ammunition, basic gun safety, field safety, bowhunting, conservation and wildlife management, wildlife of Kansas, outdoor emergencies, Kansas hunting regulations and boating safety for hunters. Where possible, students may live fire and/or go through simulated hunting conditions.
We will break around moon on Saturday for lunch. Park anywhere in the lot and used any side door that faces the parking lot.
All of the materials for the class will be provided. If you register and are not able to attend the class, please remove yourself so others can attend. If you already have your certificate please do not register for the class. There is room for parents to attend with their children. Only students needing their certificate need to register.
