Entry Level Game Warden Testing

The Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks Law Enforcement Division has uses a testing procedure for applicants applying for Natural Resource Officer I/Game Warden positions.

Qualified applicants who are invited to test for the position shall be required to successfully pass the following tests:

  1. All applicants must complete a Kansas Boating Safety Course prior to reporting to the testing site. You must bring a copy of your course certificate to the testing site. A free version of the course is available at https://www.boatus.org/kansas.
  2. Run a mile in 10 minutes or less. This will be conducted at the testing site and must be passed to proceed in the process.
