Prairie Center Preserve
Prairie Center Preserve is a 295-acre day-use property located west of Olathe in Johnson County, Kansas. Six miles of natural surface and gravel trails meander through prairie and woodland habitats. Visitors can explore the vintage farm buildings of Hillcrest Farm constructed between the 1920’s and 1950’s. Native prairie and natural areas cover most of the property. Wildlife common to eastern Kansas prairies can frequently be seen throughout the area. A small lake near the center of the property provides fishing opportunities and a stream tributary to Cedar Creek flows through the landscape of the area.
