Glen Elder State Park will have free park entry, free fishing and a free Youth Fishing Tournament on June 6, 2026. Information about all three of the events are as follows:

Secretary Kennedy has designated several park-specific Free Entrance Days that align with local events and programs designed to engage families, outdoor enthusiasts, and newcomers to Kansas state parks. Camping fees still apply.

Free Fishing Days will be June 6 and 7, 2026. On those days, anyone can fish by legal means without a Kansas fishing license. Length and creel limits remain in effect.
