 Class Notes:  Kansas Hunter's Education teaches new hunters to be ethical, safe, and knowledgeable.

The course consists of subjects covering hunter responsibility, ethics, fair chase, history of firearms, firearms basics, ammunition, basic gun safety, field safety, bowhunting, conservation and wildlife management, wildlife of Kansas, outdoor emergencies, Kansas hunting regulations and boating safety for hunters.

Where possible, students may live fire and/or go through simulated hunting conditions.

If you sign up and plans change, Please Self Cancel so seat will be opened to someone that can attend!!!!!!

Instructor Notes:  On Friday drinks and snacks will be provided by the Cherokee County Sportsmen Club.  Light breakfast and lunch, plus drinks and snacks will be provided on Saturday by the Cherokee Sportsmen Club.

Please use FULL LEGAL NAME including MIDDLE initial when registering. PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP if student(s) are already Hunter Education Certified from any state. Check back here the week of the class for any class changes or cancellations due to weather or other. We do not keep a waiting list. Students must attend both days of class to be certified.
