Ottawa Bike and Trail's Moonrise Bike Ride

Bicycle Ride & Campout!

Moonrise Bike Ride is a bikepacking, food, and music festival held along the Flint Hills Trail. The event features two ride options: a two-night Moonrise Campfire Ride starting in Council Grove on Friday, September 11, and a one-night Moonrise Main Event starting in Ottawa on Saturday, September 12. The Campfire Ride is limited and includes an overnight stay at Base Camp Flint Hills in Allen on the first night. The Main Event hosts approximately 250–300 riders. Both groups converge at Pomona Lake State Park on Saturday evening for music, food, and camping. On Sunday morning, riders enjoy breakfast before returning to Ottawa by bike.
