OK Kids Day & Free Park Entry Day-Prairie Dog State Park

Join us for a fun-filled morning outdoors at OK Kids Day.
Date: June 6
Time: 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Location: Prairie Dog State Park, Lakeview Pavilion
Register at the Lakeview Pavilion by 8:00 AM, then stick around to enjoy a variety of hands-on activities and demonstrations designed to get kids excited about the outdoors.
All kids ages 0–17 will receive a prize, with additional bonus prize drawings throughout the event, including a backpack filled with fishing and outdoor gear and even a lifetime fishing or hunting license.
An adult must accompany all children during the event.
Free vehicle entry. No cost to attend.
Bring the family, spend the day outside, and make some great memories at Prairie Dog State Park.
Secretary Kennedy has designated several park-specific Free Entrance Days that align with local events and programs designed to engage families, outdoor enthusiasts, and newcomers to Kansas state parks. Camping fees still apply.
